It was a strengthening, encouraging, amazing, unforgettable, eye-opening experience that is impossible to describe in words-you have to go there for yourself!!!!!

I originally came to Camp Hineni because my sister recommended it to me and I knew that I had many childhood friends that had gone there and also this was a wonderful opportunity to meet other girls my age and an excellent way to make good use of my summer. After I arrived at camp,I understood that it was much more than I thought –something different and amazing that I had never come across before in my life.

I came with only one other girl from my area, from up North ….,and the fact that in camp girls come from all different places gives you the ability to get to know other things and hear other people's points of view. In my opinion one of the most powerful things is that the whole project is on a volunteer basis. On giving of yourself for someone else. This changed my view on so many things. The fact that every group has an amazing madricha. The fact that there are activities and workshops that you can really relate to-that for sure you will not find in any other place in the world.

The warmth, the love, and the care from the staff is amazing!!!

It's even more amazing how you can connect to people in such a short time.

I met girls (and madrichot) that there is no chance in the world that I will ever forget .And they changed so much about me!!!

Everything there is done in the best possible way!!!

It was a strengthening, encouraging, amazing, unforgettable, eye-opening experience that is impossible to describe in words-you have to go there for yourself!!!!!

I learnt so much in camp……I gained fantastic friends, I gained important values, I enjoyed it very much and would be very happy to participate again.

I came to camp because I wanted to make something of the summer, for an extraordinary experience, to meet new friends from all over Israel and to learn so much! In camp we learnt the importance of giving – we learnt how to contributing to someone else gives you so much.

Camp activities are really excellent and fun and add to the good atmosphere.

Okay, so first of all it was just amazing .I really enjoyed every single second and it was simply fun. Everyone was smiling from ear to ear. Apart from that we got so much out of it. There is a real feeling of satisfaction, a real feeling of happiness and joy during those two weeks.

I mainly came to camp because of friends, I heard about it and it sounded good - the truth is I not so sure why I came……..

You really knew how to provide all our needs, like, on the one hand there was real fun, activities and tiyulim and on the other hand there were workshops in the desert, there was the leadership and social awareness program, there was a very powerful Shabbat. It was simply amazing!!

What did I take away with me from camp? I am simply a different person. I don't know how to explain it but it was my turning point, as if really because of this camp, I learnt how good it is to give and how much you can enjoy it. I learnt how to take things in the right proportion. I learnt the value of joy. I can't believe that camp really did this for me. Again it was amazing! I want to say thank you again so so much .This is a wonderful idea. It's really an unbelievable camp. Really –there is nothing like it .Thank you.

(Talya came back for another year)

I came out of camp with a feeling of fulfillment that I had really done something special in the summer…….

I participated in the summer of 2009.It began when I wanted to join a summer camp and I heard from friends that there is a really fun camp in Arad. So, I asked girls who had been the previous year if it was really worth going and they said-YOU HAVE TO GO, it is an amazing experience!

In camp I experienced what is to give to someone else and what it does for the other person. There is a special atmosphere in camp and I got to know many other girls. An amazing experience I think I will never forget.

I came to camp because my cousin Yarden Katz recommended it to me as "the greatest experience of my life" and because I wanted to volunteer and to help people, and to feel what people who devote their time to giving or helping someone else feels like.

I really enjoyed working with the children I volunteered with, I loved the tiyulim and activities the camps organizers did for us and especially the trip to the Dead Sea.

I particularly enjoyed the quiet afternoons (which were not always so quiet) when everyone sat together talking , eating and sharing experiences, and there was the kind of atmosphere as if we had known each other for years although in reality we had just spent 2 weeks together.

Camp was an extraordinary experience for me. I got to know new people from new places I was exposed to an environment that within my safe bubble in Shoham I could not have been exposed to and I learned so much from the children and their caretakers.

I also learnt so much from the girls I dormed with, through our conversations……..there is no doubt about it - it was wonderful and I would want many other girls to have the chance to feel what I felt. Thank you.
